What we keep, and why

Short version: we keep what we need to fix your machine and to keep its history, we do not sell or share it, and you can ask what we hold about you at any time.

1. Who we are

MatCam Advanced Manufacturing Pty Ltd, ABN 93 623 247 889, trading as CNC101Pro and kdm20g, Kingsholme, Queensland, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Questions and requests: support@cnc101pro.com.

2. What we collect

When	What	Why
You pay through Stripe	Name, business, email, phone, billing address, the machine serial or job reference you type, the payment itself	To book the job and issue a receipt. Card details go to Stripe, not to us.
You fill in the assessment or enquiry form	Contact details, time zone, the machine's serial and model, the fault description and event history, photographs of the machine	To identify the machine, pull its factory record and do the work.
We connect to the machine PC	The controller's configuration, parameter and fault files, and a record of what was changed	To diagnose and to keep the machine's service record. Nothing else on the PC is copied.
We correspond	Emails, WhatsApp messages and photographs you send	They are the job file.
You leave feedback or a reference	What you write, your name and business if you give them	Published only with the permission you tick on the form.
You join the AI launch list	Email, machine series, country, and the optional fields you fill	Launch updates only.

3. Where it lives

Your machine's record is kept on our own server in Australia, filed by the machine's serial number, with a copy in an encrypted off-site backup.
Email is held with our mail hosts (Hostinger for cnc101pro.com; our own hosts for the other addresses).
Payments are held by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy. Form submissions pass through our web host on their way to us.
We use no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies on cnc101pro.com. The site sets no cookies of its own.

4. Who sees it

George Hess, and the tools used to do the work: Stripe for payment, our remote-support app for the session, and AI-assisted analysis of the technical material you supply (the fault description, photographs and controller files) to speed up diagnosis. A supplier sees only what is needed to quote or ship a part. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send marketing to support clients.

5. How long

The machine's technical record (serial, configuration, faults found, work done) is kept indefinitely, because machines outlive their owners and the next owner's job starts from that record. Your personal contact details are kept while you are a client and for seven years afterwards for Australian tax and record-keeping law, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Photographs of the machine are kept with its record; anything in a photograph that is not the machine is yours to ask us to crop or delete.

6. Your choices

Ask what we hold about you or your machine, and we will tell you within a reasonable time.
Ask us to correct it, or to remove your personal details from a machine's record (the technical record stays, without your name).
Leave the launch list at any time by replying to any update.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled a request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

7. Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version in force is the one on this page.
